Our story
Two people, a coffee bike and a love for Vietnam.
We’re Matko and Eva Lin. We like to say that everything starts with love—and for Viet Drip, it began with ours.
Through Eva Lin’s Vietnamese family, Matko discovered Vietnam’s culture, language and cuisine. In 2018–2019, we spent almost a year living there before moving to Amsterdam. Matko missed Vietnam deeply, keeping the connection alive through the language, food and Vietnamese communities around him.
In August 2024, we brought our coffee bike to Amsterdam’s Oosterpark. Viet Drip became our way of sharing those flavours and that feeling with the people around us: a taste of home, a memory of Vietnam, or a first introduction to a culture we love.

What is a phin?
A phin is a small metal or aluminium filter that sits on top of your glass. Hot water passes slowly through the ground coffee, drop by drop. It’s a simple brewing ritual that invites you to take your time.
What’s in our coffee?
We use our own 100% Vietnamese robusta, roasted in the Netherlands for a rich, bold taste. It gives our coffee the intensity and authenticity we love, whether you enjoy it black or with condensed milk.
Where should I start?
Try cà phê sữa đá for a classic introduction: bold coffee, sweet condensed milk and ice. Prefer it black? Go for đen đá. For something creamy, try our coconut coffee. Our personal favourit is cà phê muối - salted coffe.
